The New Mexico Cancer Center is currently seeking a PET Nuclear Medicine Technologist (PRN) for its Albuquerque clinic to inject patients with FDG and F-18 for bone scans according to policies and procedures for the Diagnostic Imaging department. This Technologist may also learn how to administer other nuclear medicine therapies, thus, a familiarity with the concepts, practices, and procedures in nuclear medicine is essential. REQUIREMENTS: A.A.S. in Nuclear Medicine; One year of experience as a radiologic technologist; Intermediate Computer Skills, EMR & Related Systems; Certificates & Licenses: Registered Radiologic Technologist with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist RT(N) or NMTCB (CNMT); Exposure to and of knowledge of other nuclear medicine therapies (e.g., Radium 223, Quadramat, I-131, and Y-90) helpful. The PET Nuclear Medicine Technologist is a PRN who works as needed to cover absences, vacations, and other times when staff is unavailable during our Monday through Friday workweek.
