The Middle Rio Grande Conservancy District,

General Office in Albuquerque is recruiting for an Engineer. Job duties include review and direct construction projects, manage project budgets, prepare licenses, and reports. Assist with the designs, specifications and plans for District construction and engineering activities. Proficiency in AutoCAD drafting, surveying and mapping for the operation, design, construction and maintenance of District facilities and water control structures. Bachelor's in Civil, Agricultural Engineering or related field required and 4+ years' work experience in engineering and/or hydrology. PE certificate or ability to obtain within twelve months of hiring. Candidates must have a valid NMDL. Successful candidates will be required to pass a physical exam, alcohol and drug screen, and criminal background check including driving records. FLSA exempt; starting salary DOE based on level/type of engineering exp., and/or possession of or proximity to PE.
