Position Summary:
The UNM Bookstore is looking for a dynamic Coordinator of Inventory Control for the Gift & Clothing Department. This position is responsible for the acquisition of inventory, art design and art approval, inspection and assessment of the condition of inventory, and insures orders are received timely, correct, and in good condition. This position is also responsible for the merchandising of product within the store, maintaining new product presence on the web, as well as coordination and execution of sales and events promoted by the UNM Bookstore. Ensuring the sale of purchased product to meet established turns, margins and inventory levels is a key function. This is a management position that oversees all aspects of student employees including hiring, scheduling, training, and allocation of work and is responsible for opening and closing manager duties. Some evening and weekend work is required throughout the year.
