 Job Summary

POSITION(S) & SCHEDULE(S): FT positions and must be flexible:

All hours/days listed may vary due to the needs of the company

 Direct Care Counselor/Awake Overnight Counselor:

 Position 1: Awake Overnights-Saturdays and Sundays 8pm-9am plus Mondays 7p-9a

COMPENSATION:$11.05 per hour


EXPERIENCE:No experience required except for the positions listed that have a minimum requirement for DOH DDSD trainings. If you do have experience-please bring copies of Dept. of Health trainings including CPR/FA.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES(See complete Job description posted on our website):Assist with personal care (bathing, toileting, grooming, etc.), housekeeping, meal prep, leisure activities, companionship, monitor for health & safety, etc. Responsible for data collection, progress note charting, other written documentation, transporting, accompanying & supervising individuals while on community outings, assisting with medication, etc. Provide a safe environment while implementing structured programming and plans including teaching daily living skills that include behavior support, communication skills, community based & social skills fostering each individual's strengths & abilities. Awake overnights follow the same job duties plus hourly monitoring during the overnight hours.

Benefits: $300 sign on bonus at 90 days, health, dental, vision & supplemental insurances offered at 60 days, 401K


EDUCATION:Must have proof of education -High School Diploma, GED, Degree, etc.


  • Must be 21 or older
  • Must have reliable vehicle and proof of insurance on that vehicle
  • Must have valid NM driver's license, with less than 2 moving violations & no DWI/DUI's in the last 5 years
  • Must be able to pass criminal background check/fingerprint investigation
  • Must be able to pass a drug test.
  • Will be required to participate in general orientation and paid state required trainings.
  • Must be able to operate personal and/or company vehicles used for transporting program participants
  • Must be able to lift 40 lbs or more
  • Must have ability to assist and support individuals who utilize walkers, wheelchairs and gait belts
  • Must be able to type and utilize the world wide web
